Thanks everybody.
They say being 25 is substantial. It’s amazing, a feeling of being all grown up, a landmark.
It feels like any other day though. ![]()
One man’s meat is another man’s poison.
I’ll try to never, ever impose what I like on someone else. ![]()
Recap of an important lesson on career, life, and almost everything in general.
1. There is no plan.
2. Think strengths, not weaknesses
3. It’s not about you.
4. Persistence trumps talent.
5. Make excellent mistakes
6. Leave an imprint.
Enjoy the weekend mates.
Not many things in life is ever certain. Such as Liverpool Football Club coming to this part of the world to play a friendly match.
Final score: Liverpool 5, Singapore 0. Besides the scoreline, the atmosphere of 54,999 other reds singing “You’ll Never Walk Alone” together with you is unbeatable, unimaginable. If that was what I felt in Singapore, I wonder what would it be like in Anfield.
If I can’t visit the kop, at least I can say the Kop visited me.

As I was saying, life is filled with uncertainty.
In 2 months’ time, I’ll be 25.
No, I’m not saying I’m getting too old or something of that sort. Contrary to belief, I still think it’s a friggin’ young age to be in.
There’s only so much to do in this life. Stuff I can do while I’m young. Mistakes to be made. Lessons to be learned. Too little time to let them be spent in depression.
I have plans. But alas, they are only plans. I realize in my life, most of what has happened (and turned out great) are the unplanned. So, in the end, all my plans are changed to non-concrete plans to enable flexibility, and to make choosing the better option much easier.
This post looks like it’s going nowhere, but bear with me if you will.
My whole point is, that life IS short. So if there’s a mountain to be bungee jumped off, a sea to be dived in, a book to be written, a rock band to play in, hair to be messed up, or, believe it or not, a child to be a parent to, DO it.
Very importantly is to not look back and realize why didn’t you do this, or that. ![]()
Tomorrow, half of 2009 would be gone.
Or is there half of 2009 that’s remaining?
This is what I wrote at the beginning of the year.
Seems to be still on track.
There’s still a whole lot more of 2009 to go - Let’s continue the ride. ![]()
I saw the trailer a few times.
Promising. Until I saw the new characters.

What the heck? How can Devastator be anything like this?

Nothing pwns this!
Now look at Sideswipe (from the movie).

Wheels as feet? That’s real clever. Some poor kid’s (Or possibly me and my friends) gonna complain about his Sideswipe toy not being able to stand properly.

The epitome of a cool Autobot.
I’m having mixed feelings. Just like the one I had for the 1st Transformers movie. So much promise, so little beauty.
In 2009, I’ve been to the cinema a grand total of: 1 time.
Good thing it was Watchmen, which was a beautifully done movie, doing justice to its graphic novel origins.
Because of that, I’ve been missing out on plenty of movies. In part due to my conflicting schedules, laziness, and a lack of motivation.
Anyone up for movies? I feel like getting back to my big screen groove.
